  1. Upgrading From Personal Librarian 1.0

  3. If you've been using Personal Librarian 1.0, do the following to bring your records into Personal Librarian 1.1:

  5. 1) Open your freshly downloaded copy of Personal Librarian 1.1
  6. 2) From the File menu choose "Save A Copy As" and save a copy of PL 1.1 as a clone.  This
  7. will create a copy of PL 1.1 that has no records in it.
  8. 3) Close the copy of PL 1.1 you have open.
  9. 4) Open the clone file you just created.
  10. 5) From the File menu choose "Import/Export -> Import Records".
  11. 6) Find the Personal Librarian 1.0 file that all your books are in and open it.
  12. 7) Click "Ok" in the dialog that comes up.

  14. All you records should now be in Personal Librarian 1.1.  If you have any problems, drop me a note in e-mail, and we'll see if we can work it out.
